Notboring Vibes

I worked with !NotBoring to design and build the generative music app Vibes. Vibes generates music on the fly from a huge bank of samples and phrases that helps users focus, sleep, wake, relax and workout. This project was one of the most challenging, mind melting and rewarding things I’ve ever worked on.

The app consists of different ‘Vibes’ to suit situations through your day, each one like its own distinct musical world that shifts and re-arranges itself as an endlessly looping composition. It taps into movement and sleep cycle data to shape music that is never the same, always giving new variations and combinations.
